Account deletion

Delete your
Errnd account.

You can permanently delete your Errnd account and the personal data we hold about you at any time, directly from the app. No waiting, no tickets.

From the Errnd app Recommended

The fastest way. Deletion is immediate once confirmed.

  1. Open the Errnd app and make sure you're logged in.
  2. Tap the Profile tab (bottom navigation, rightmost icon).
  3. Under the Support section, tap Terms & Privacy.
  4. Tap Delete Account at the bottom of the list.
  5. Read the warning. If you're sure, tap Continue.
  6. Type the word DELETE in the confirmation field.
  7. Tap Delete Forever. Your account and personal data are removed immediately.

By email

If you no longer have the app installed or can't log in.

  1. Send an email to support@errnd.co from the email address associated with your Errnd account.
  2. Use the subject line "Delete my account".
  3. Include the phone number you signed up with so we can confirm identity.
  4. We process the request within 7 days and reply once your account is deleted.

01What gets deleted

When you confirm deletion, the following is removed from our database immediately:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number.
  • Your password hash, so the credentials can no longer be used to log in.
  • Your profile photo and any saved addresses.
  • Your date of birth and gender, if provided.
  • Courier-only: vehicle details, license plate, verification documents, live location history, emergency contact.
  • Customer-only: any unfinished errands must be cancelled or completed before your account can be deleted.
  • All active login sessions and refresh tokens are revoked immediately.

02What we keep, and for how long

Some data stays for legal or platform-integrity reasons, not tied to your identity:

  • Completed-errand history — the fact that an errand was completed, at what price, between two anonymized users, for 5 years. Required for tax and legal compliance. Your personal details are scrubbed from these records, only the anonymous ID, amount, and status remain.
  • Ratings you gave or received — retained in aggregate form. The individual rating is kept for the rated user's average, but your name is removed from the review.
  • Chat messages — retained for 90 days after the associated errand completes, then automatically purged.
  • Aggregated location points — origin / destination pairs for inter-city trips are retained for 5 years for route analytics. Individual GPS points from live tracking are removed within 30 days.

03This is permanent

Account deletion cannot be reversed. Once confirmed, you'll need to sign up again from scratch if you want to use Errnd in the future. You can reuse the same phone number or email for a new account — they're freed up the moment deletion is confirmed.
